Introduction to the contracts listing

The contracts listing is the home page for SPAs and where all the new pricing programs, contracts and special pricing agreements are created.

The following contracts appear in the contracts listing:

  • Distributor Support Contract (ID prefixed with D).
  • Customer Pricing Contract (ID prefixed with C).
  • Special Pricing Agreement (ID prefixed with S).
  • Pricing Program (ID prefixed with P).

Viewing your contracts in the default contracts listing, you will be able to review the following:

  • ID: a system-generated field to identify whether the contract is a DSC, CPC, SPA or pricing program.
  • Dates: this can be a start and end date or describe when a contract starts if there is no defined end date.
  • Reference: A user-defined text field that describes your contract.
  • Organization: This will be your organization.
  • Partners: The trading partners related to a given contract.
  • Usage: Describes how many SPAs are related to the given contract (this field is only populated for DSCs and CPCs).
  • Approval status: Either draft or approved, the approved status ensures the contract has all mandatory fields and selections set and communicates the contract is ready for support/is active.

Introduction to the workflow contracts listing

How to access the workflow contracts listing:

  1. Navigating to the filters and views button in the top right.
  2. Select workflow under the filters > column set > default.

When set to the workflow contracts listing, you can see the following columns:

  • ID: a system-generated field to identify whether the contract is a DSC, CPC, SPA, or pricing program.
  • Reference: A user-defined text field that describes your contract.
  • Initiator: the organization that initiates the contract (this column will not be populated for SPA contracts).
  • Originator: Who created the contract.
  • Partners: The trading partners related to a given contract.
  • Approval status: Either draft or approved, the approved status ensures the contract has all mandatory fields and selections set and communicates the contract is ready for support/is active.
  • Approval date: The date on which the contract was approved.

How to filter your contracts

You can use the search bar as well as the filter and views section to surface relevant information and find specific contracts.

The search bar allows you to search on a contract’s ID or reference.

The filters section is split into details, active agreements, workflow, and column set.

  1. Set details filters:
    a. Type: allows you to filter agreements by type: customer pricing contract, distributor support contract, Pricing program, and Special pricing agreements.
    b. Dates: allows you to filter based on a date range. The system will return agreements that are active within this time period.
  2. Set active agreements filter: when managing hundreds or thousands of SPAs, you can easily filter through volumes by toggling to Active agreements. When enabled, this filter limits the view to approved SPAs per the start and end dates.
  3. Set expiring agreements filter: when this filter is on, only approved agreements which are expiring in the next 60 days are shown.
  4. Set workflow filters, please note these are for promotions functionality and you may not have full use of the feature. Please reach out to our support team to learn more here.
  5. Set column set filter; options include:
    a. Default: learn about the default listing here.
    b. Workflow: learn about the workflow listing here.
