Creating users for SPAs

Channel admin users can invite team members to start using special pricing agreements (SPAs).

This article will guide you through:

Users are located within the Config area of the Trading programs app.

Channel admin users will have access to the Config area and user management within Enable. If you require additional help, please reach out to our support team here.

To navigate to user configuration:

Step 1: Click on Config in the green banner at the top of the page.

Step 2: Click on Users in the drop-down menu. You will automatically be navigated to Users within the Config area (displayed below).

How to add a new user to a SPAs channel

To add a new user, click on the + button. The Enter details panel will automatically be displayed on the right. Continue to populate the details explained in the sections below.

Enter details

  • Email address: Enter the user’s email address, ensuring no spaces are added before or after the email address. Then click Next to automatically display the remaining settings.

Note: If you use an external single sign-on (SSO) identity provider to log into Enable (as opposed to an Enable account), you must additionally add the new user's first name and surname.

Other access settings may appear if your channel also uses trading programs; only the above settings are applicable for SPA channels. Learn more about user access settings for trading programs here.

App access

  • Executive Dashboard: Set the checkbox to provide the user with access to executive dashboard to view a summary of SPA performance including top products and end customers by claim value. Interested in Executive Dashboard but don’t have this option available? Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to discuss further.
  • Pricing: Set the checkbox to provide the user with access to view and edit price lists.

Other apps may appear if your channel also uses trading programs; only the above apps are applicable for SPA channels. Learn more about app access for trading programs here.

Sending the welcome email to the new user

Once the above settings have been selected, click the Save button to create the user.

Click the Send welcome email button for your user to be invited to use Enable. Note: Your new user will not have access until this email is sent.

The team member will then receive an email from Enable inviting them to start using the platform. They will be required to click on the URL provided and if they do not already have an account with Enable, set the details for their account.

For users who have already been sent a welcome email, the Send welcome email button will be disabled. Need a welcome email to be resent? Please reach out to our support team here.
