Managing additional user settings

Once you have created a new user, as shown here. This article will walk you through how to configure whether they are an admin and what program line types they have access to. To set user permissions please see the user access permissions article.

Admin user

If, a user requires admin access permissions, simply click on the tick box next to the Channel admin label (which will also be found in the User access settings section), to give them admin-level access.

Please see the Admin Guide for more information on admin access areas and functions.

Standard user

If this individual will be a standard user, you will have the option to select which program line types they are permitted to have access to. This can be found in the User access settings section below the main user details. Usually, this is set to all types.

Next to the Permitted program line types label, the default drop-down option will be ‘All program line types’. If you click on this drop-down menu, you will be provided with a secondary option: ‘Selected program line types’. Selecting this option will trigger a new icon to appear below it, which, when clicked on, will allow you to select the program line types you wish to provide the user access to from the list provided.

App access

Depending on your additional applications, you can set permissions on a per-user level. See the image below for an example.

Executive dashboard

There are multiple ways a user can access the Executive dashboard. Selecting 'Full' will allow the user to view Executive Dashboard through the lens of other users, whilst 'Individual' limits the user to a personal view of the dashboard containing data associated with trading partners they are mapped to.

Locked users

If a user has attempted to log in too many times unsuccessfully, they will be locked out of their account and an administrator will have to unlock their user. A padlock icon will show next to users who have been locked out. Admins can click on the locked user and select the unlock button located next to the 'Send welcome email' button to allow the locked user to log in again.

Next steps

For both standard users and client admin users, you will now need to set some user access permissions for each of your trading partners within various areas of Trading Programs. Please see the user access permissions article for further information.
