A dimension collection item has properties matching the collection's dimension collection attributes. At this level, dimension collection attribute values can be set against a specific item.
Once values have been assigned for all of the item's attributes, it will become allocated to the collection. Once allocated, the item will be available to users in other areas of the system, such as reporting.
