Baseline transactions are transactions that would be applicable to your program line or trading program if they took place in the previous period, determined by taking the transacted data for the last period.
For example, if you are creating a trading program for the year 2020 then Trading Programs will take your 2019 baseline transactions and put them through this trading program to see what your baseline earnings would've been had the trading program happened in 2019. This allows you to estimate how profitable your trading program will be if the transactions remain the same for this period.
