When purchasing any new software, data security is paramount to all businesses, and they demand honesty and transparency in how we handle their sensitive data they have entrusted with us. At Enable we realize the importance of this for our customers and therefore have it as one of the principal concerns in every task we carry out.

Data security, compliance, and internal controls are a fundamental pillar of our business strategy. That’s why we annually invest time, money, and resources in our SOC audits as we want to provide our customers with full confidence in the quality of our products and services by using an independent auditor’s attestation of our policies and processes.

Therefore, after a rigorous long-term evaluation and auditing process we are proud to have received our SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II attestation reports from KirkpatrickPrice having previously been accredited our SOC 1 and 2 Type I in 2020. This means we are committed to delivering high-quality services to our customers and have the necessary internal controls and processes in place that directly affect their business.

What is a SOC 1&2 type II certification?

Type II reports detail the effectiveness of those systems over a period of time, which is a more rigorous auditing assessment for any platform that processes and stores data. A company that has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification has proven its system is designed to keep its clients’ sensitive data secure.

For an organization to achieve successful certification, it must meet the following criteria.

  • Security The organization’s system must have controls in place to safeguard against unauthorized physical and logical access.
  • Availability The system must be available for operation and must be used as agreed.
  • Processing Integrity The system processing must be complete, accurate, well-timed, and authorized.
  • Confidentiality The information held by the organization that is classified as “confidential” by a user must be protected.

If you have any questions about our SOC 1&2 type II certification, we would love to hear from you via hello@enable.com. In the meantime, we will continue to make substantial investments in our security and compliance programs so that you, our valued customers have the peace of mind knowing that your data is safe and secure when using Enable.
