Enable is delighted to announce that it has won the award for “best support services supplier” from Today’s Group, presented earlier this month at the 2014 supplier awards at Edgbaston Stadium.

Enable has been working closely with Today’s over the past 3 years to design, develop, implement and support some of the critical software systems that are used by Today’s, both at their central offices and by many of their members.

Andrew Butt, Managing Director comments “Buying groups and wholesale distribution are quickly becoming the biggest sectors in which Enable operates, and we are delighted to have such a fantastic relationship with Today’s Group. The group is very forward thinking and has invested significantly in the development of software systems to create real competitive advantage for itself and its wholesaler members.”

In 1987 Today’s Group started out with an ambitious plan to create a major independent buying group for the benefit of both wholesalers and retailers. The Today’s Group is now the largest independent buying group of its kind in the UK with buying power exceeding 5.7bn and including the largest network of independent cash & carry wholesalers and delivered wholesalers in the UK.

Since 2000 Enable has been designing, building and supporting web software and mobile apps with a permanently employed UK-based team. The company has a particular focus on providing solutions that can help clients to create, manage and gain maximum benefit from complex promotional and trading agreements.
