Rexel Canada implements Enable to maximize rebate earnings

Collaborative software platform will enable the electrical products distributor to more easily track, manage, accrue, and claim against rebate agreements with hundreds of suppliers

Rexel Canada, an Ontario-based electrical products distributor, has chosen Enable’s software to automate its accounting processes for supplier rebates in order to maximize rebate revenue and margin.

Rexel Canada operates three networks across 190+ locations, with annual sales of over CAN$1.6bn. It had been managing hundreds of rebate agreements using a combination of manual processes and a legacy AS/400 finance system. That created scope for error, leading to supplier disputes and missed opportunities to claim the full amount of rebate due.

Enable will give Rexel Canada full visibility of its complex rebate agreements, and automate the process of calculating, accruing and claiming for rebate due. A supplier portal will enable closer working with key suppliers, paving the way for more strategic relationships.
