Breakdown of a trading program

Trading programs can be searched, edited, replicated or deleted at any point, as long as you have the relevant read or edit permission for the program lines associated with the selected supplier.

To manage your trading programs, you will need to click on Suppliers in the menu that appears at the top of your page. This will take you to a page containing a list of your suppliers.

You can also view your trading programs in the single view of trading programs, by selecting 'List (beta)' in the menu.

After selecting a supplier from this list, you will notice a display panel appear from the right of your screen. This panel contains a list of trading programs that have been created for your selected supplier.

Within this list, there is also a Proposals tab containing those trading programs that have not yet been activated (please see the Set up your trading programs section for information on activating proposal trading programs).

Within the Trading programs tab, upon selecting a trading program and clicking View, you will be taken to a new page where you will be able to manage your trading programs for a given supplier. This page includes a number of tabs near the top of your screen for you to click on, as follows:

  • Program lines · This is the page that you initially land on. Here, you can add new program lines to a trading program, as well as edit, replicate and delete existing program lines within a trading program.
  • Settings & terms · Clicking on this tab will take you to a page where you will be able to define the settings which will be applied to your trading program, such as the description or start/end date. You can also select a trading program type version to define what terms items can be attached to a trading program.
  • Approval · Clicking on this tab will take you to a page where you will be able to manage the approval process for a trading program, according to your organization's hierarchy and sign-off rules. This is an additional option that can be configured by Enable's system administrators.
  • Analysis · Clicking on this tab will take you to a page where you will be able to analyze the performance of a trading program and make direct comparisons against other trading programs.

The Program lines tab (seen below) allows any user who has access to the selected supplier to view a list of the program lines that have been configured for a given trading program, select a particular program line from the list and then view the settings for that program line.

As shown below, if a user has edit access to the selected supplier, they will also be able to edit (via the Edit program line button), replicate (via the Replicate button) or delete existing program lines (via the Delete button), as well as add new ones (via the + program line button).
